‘Kiss me Pink’ gouache and carpenters pencil mounted on wood bowl, 5x14.5cm, 2015

An exchange between independent projects North located in North Sydney and Modern Art Projects the Blue Mountains.  This show is representative of the arrival of a new model in Australian Art, a crossover approach that reflects the growing interest in artist run but community supported programs that can feature international groupings.  This grounded network approach has many benefits and brings to the fore the many talets found in local communities while attracting local audiences to new art, artists and curatorial processes.

NORTH – WEST features a group of artists from Sydney but mostly from the suburban outer western reaches of Sydney.

Artist’s include: Keith Rowe, Dan Kojta, Luba Bosch, Fiona Davies, Miriam Williamson & Brad Allen-Waters, Caroline Wilde, Anne Graham, Talulah Vane, Hayley West, Vicky Brown, Locust Jones, Nick Strike, Jacqueline Spedding, Kyle Jenkins, Ian Milliss, Alex Wisser, Georgie Pollard, Margaret Roberts, Sarah Keighery, Billy Gruner, Fleur MacDonald, Tobias Richardson, Will Cooke, Mark Titmarsh, Susie Idiens, Kayo Yokohama, Tom Loveday, Claire Healy & Sean Cordiero, Gary Warner, Eleanor McDonald, Ingrid Van der Aa, Andrew Leslie, Oliver Watts, Zeb Olsen and Roger Foley Fogg.

2015 – Solo – Folonomo Gallery – Echo – Sydney

Celebrating 30 years of exhibiting, old work only dating back to last year as I didn’t want to dwell to much on the past, new work included 8 painted wooden bowls which had carpenter’s pencils mounted on them, the bowls shape ‘the circle’ represents coming the full circle in my existence in the Art World.
